Farzad Heydari has a Master’s degree in piano from the University of Tehran (with a rank of 4 in the national entrance examination).
He also completed his undergraduate training studies in conducting at the Tehran Conservatory.
Farzad Heydari studied his general piano professionally in 1378 under the supervision of professors such as Ali Mozaffari, Raha Sargardi, Homayoun Aramfar, Mahmoud Mirzaei, as well as specialized piano training under the supervision of professors such as Arpineh Israelian, Clara Bokuchava and Sina Khairabadi.

In 2015, he participated in the Ovam Orchestra as a tenor singer and also performed pieces by Bartok in his recital at the Tehran Conservatory in 2015.
In 2016, he performed pieces by Chopin, Bach, Prokifiev, Beethoven, Schubert and Mozart, and in 2016, he performed pieces by Domenico Scarlatti, Chopin and Bach in his recital in the Avini Hall of the University of Tehran.
In 2017, he was in charge of Quintet Piano to perform modern works by composers such as Shanitke.
He has also participated in master classes of Dr. Setareh Beheshti, Israelian, Dr. Azin Movahed and Amin Fayyaz under the title of interdisciplinary music.
Since 1393, he has been teaching specialized piano , as well as harmony and music theory lessons privately, and since 1396, he has been teaching in Ava, Kook and Barbad schools.
